AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS
What a wonderful month! The temperatures are finally comfortable enough to fully enjoy the outdoors, the trees are beginning to hint at change, and school is back in session. As you dive into your outdoor projects for fall cleanup and winter prep, please keep our ward’s needs in mind. Reach out to me, your city councilor, if there’s anything I can do to assist. I’m committed to making our community as safe and clean as possible—this is where we live, where we raise our children, and where we call home.

A Smoother Ride Ahead
Our Public Works team has been busy resurfacing Upper Welden from Barlow East. They’ve also leveled the Barlow & Upper Welden intersection to help prevent the pooling issues we’ve experienced during heavy rainstorms.
Back-to-School Safety Reminder
School buses are back on the roads, so remember: when you see those flashing red lights, stop—whether you’re behind the bus or approaching from the opposite direction. Let’s keep our kids safe this school year.
