**WARDLY NEWS – FEBRUARY 2025**

Hello, neighbors! I’m Erik Johnson, your Ward 5 City Councilor, here to keep you updated on the latest happenings in our ward and across St. Albans. I’m always available to hear your thoughts, concerns, or ideas. You can find more info, event details, and stay connected with Ward 5 at http://ward5vt.com.

== CITY NEWS ==
COMMUNITY SAFETY
I’m proud of the great work our City PD has been doing in our neighborhoods. We were told at our last council meeting that PD is now fully staffed and the street division is up and running.

Even with a fully staffed department, it’s important that we all take on community safety, we can all do our part by being mindful drivers and helping make our streets safer and speaking up if you see something.

COUNCIL MEMBERS
Three city council seats will be opening in March. Our community thrives when we step up to serve. The local municipal positions we run for and hold are where we shape the aspects of our community that matter most in our everyday lives.
